The Marina Stores opens every day from 0800 - 1800 and carries
most items needed by a cruising yacht. They will order anything which they
do not carry.
Weather forecasts and synoptic charts are posted in the Marina Office each
day and long range forecasts are available on request.
FREE WiFi and Internet access for berth holders and visiting yachts within the Reception area.
Many pontoon fingers are provided with a 240v power supply. It is available to alongside visitors via card operated meters.
Water:
A hose point is provided on many pontoon finger with 'Hoselock'
fittings for berth-holders' hoses.
Red diesel is available during office opening hours (usually
0800 to 1800) on the Fuelling pontoon, which has in excess of 3m at LAT. Access
may be restricted during lifeboat operations. Outside these hours please make
arrangements with the marina manager.
LPG (Propane & butane) is available from the chandlery.
The marina is protected by 24 hour cctv, covering all marina
berths and the harbour (if required). Pontoon access is through a code-controlled
automatic gate. .
Full boatyard facilities are available on site. GRP, steel,
ferro and aluminium hull work: diesel & petrol engines, outboard engines,
rigging, stainless steel welding and fitting. Fitting out and full refits
can be undertaken.
Bookings may be made for the Marina to recover & launch boats
from their pontoon berths for storage ashore. Space is limited and advance
bookings may be necessary.
The ‘YachtShop’ is
'open' to berth-holders 24 hours per day. Phone the number on the door if
you need anything out of hours. Supplies may be ordered by phone, fax or email
for delivery to your boat at the time you need it.
Showers and toilet block including individual ‘en-suite’
facilities next to the Office. Laundry.
Stena
& Irish
Ferries run to Eire from Holyhead port. Crossing times are 3 - 3¼ hours
for the 'cruise' ferries and 1¾ hours for the HSS. Ferries go to Dublin, with
the exception of the Stena HSS which berths in Dun Laoghaire. ‘Intercity’
trains run from Holyhead station. Marina staff will be pleased to organise
a taxi if required for either rail or ferry services. The A55 Expressway connects
Holyhead port to the mainland motorway network, the 25 miles to the Britannia
Bridge (Menai Strait) taking no more than 30 minutes.
